In late 2014, an unusual collection of businesspeople and political leaders formed to warn American businesses about the threats of climate change. They called themselves the Risk Committee. Helm wrote about the group and interviewed several of its members: Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, Robert Rubin, the treasury secretary under President Clinton, Henry Paulson, the former CEO of Goldman Sachs and treasury secretary under President George W. Bush, and Greg Page, the chairman of food conglomerate Cargill. The story ran on the front page of the NYT's Sunday Business section.
